Weekly Reminders

Teachers please make sure you are aware that our 3rd Graders will be taking their BOG3 on Tuesday morning and a schedule change was shared last week via email. When navigating the building make sure your classes are silent when transitioning.

Testing certificates should have already been added to the 26-27 Testing Training Module Certificates folder by September 2, 2026. If you have not added these, please do so immediately, as Mrs. Potter has to share them with the district testing coordinator prior to those students taking their assessment tomorrow.

Safe Practice of our Power Practice: Close Reading will begin this week. We will be going around to classrooms collecting data on the look-fors we developed at our ILT meeting last week. I emailed a graphic that included these look-fors to each grade level representative. Please ensure your team is provided a copy of these. We will discuss them further at planning

We will be reviewing your PDP goal this week on Wednesday at PLC and will sign off on these both while at the session. Please go ahead input your personal goal and complete your self-assessment prior to Wednesday so we may do so.

Grade levels should carry their assigned walkie talkies everywhere with you so the front office can get in touch with you at any point of the day. Those assigned to carpool duty should have them at the end of the day to assist us with that process each afternoon.

Please go ahead and turn in the rest of your BOY paperwork as soon as possible! Especially the Employee Policy Acknowledgement Form as I must send those to HR as soon as possible.

Ms. Messer will be going around to grade levels during their TIER 3 Intervention times to complete some diagnostics with our new students.

Our fundraiser continues through Sept 30. It's all online. You do nothing except send the packets home on Tuesday, Sept 1 and show the video linked below at your convenience. The video will hype them up. Students will be awarded prizes daily. I will reach out to individual teachers as they are awarded. So if they come to you asking about their prize, just tell them that I will be handing them out as soon as I can, time permitted. Their parents can see when they earn one, so that's why they will ask you.Last year we sold over $10,000. Our commission was $3793.00.

The 26–27 Full Glance Transportation spreadsheet is currently being updated with bus changes for bus 53, 72 and 372 as there is no longer a 2nd load bus as of today! Please make sure to update backpack tags to reflect these updates This spreadsheet includes all students assigned to a bus as of 9/6/26, as well as those who go to the YMCA. Please note: being listed on a bus route only means the student has an assigned seat, not that they are actually riding the bus.

Second Load – Bus 372:

Bus 372 technically has two loads, however we will continue to try to fit them into one load in the afternoon. We are hopeful that this situation will be remedied soon and the routes will be condensed into one route and parents will get more accurate pickup and dropoff times soon.

Red Dots:

All kindergarten students must have a red dot on their transportation card attached to their bookbag. Kindergarteners cannot have waivers, and a parent must meet them at the bus stop each afternoon. First and second graders who do not turn in a waiver will also need red dots added to their cards.

Red Bags:

Please pick up your red bag from the front office tomorrow morning and add your class roster. We did not receive red bags from everyone at the end of the school year, please check and make sure your red bag has all needed items if you were one of these people.

Other:

Mrs. Perry has extra bookbags and school supplies available if anyone needs them. Her church also donated prayer squares, which she placed by the mailboxes for anyone who would like one. (Rub your fingers across the prayer square to feel a special surprise.)

Workday Expectations: Staff shall report to school from 7:30-3:30 each day they intend to work full days. If you are working a half day am =7:30-11:30/half day pm=11:30-3:30. Please ensure you are signing in and out using RAPTOR. There is a sign in computer at the front office as well as in each of the hallway workrooms for now. No one may enter any absences in Frontline past 6:30am. The district has given us a little more time for this but it must be adhered to.

Teachers need to be standing at their doors each morning to greet students at 7:30 as this is your morning duty station.
