This year's elementary parent conferences are scheduled to take place from Monday, November 16th to Friday, November 20th. This valuable opportunity allows you to engage in discussions about your child's progress and gain insights into their strengths and areas for growth. On these days, Empresa will operate on a minimum day schedule to accommodate these important sessions. Further details and specific scheduling information will be provided by your child's teacher in the coming weeks.

In October we will focus on OWNERSHIP

O- We Take Ownership of Our Actions

• Take responsibility for mistakes
• Be proud of actions
• Do your best

Huggtopus is a happy, affectionate octopus who loves to hug and play! Sometimes her excitement gets the best of her, and she needs reminders about personal boundaries. Huggtopus experiences the feelings Happy,

Frustrated, and Silly.

Students are learning that choosing partners can bring up big feelings, especially when they aren't paired with someone they hoped to work with. Through our Kind Partner Rules, students are practicing how to have preferences while still treating everyone with kindness and respect. We are learning that turning someone down or showing unkindness through our words, tone of voice, facial expressions, or actions can hurt feelings.

Kimochis Family Challenge: Encourage your child to connect with someone they don't know as well. This might mean inviting a less-familiar classmate to play, starting a conversation with someone new, or choosing to spend time with someone outside their usual circle. These small opportunities help children build friendships, practice flexibility, and learn to include others.

Is your student missing a hoodie, jacket, lunchbox, or that one water bottle they just had yesterday? Now’s the time to check our Lost & Found! All unclaimed items will be donated on October 30!

Have your Knight take a peek and bring those missing treasures home before they find a new home!

Unfortunately, there was a recording error and there is no recording for today but GOOD NEWS, the class will be performing an encore performance next week at our Halloween Friday Flag celebration.
