Mid-May 2026
Message from Mrs. Antoniello
As we head into the final stretch of the school year, I want to take a moment to celebrate the many accomplishments and exciting events happening throughout our school community.
We are incredibly proud of our third, fourth, and fifth grade students for their hard work and perseverance during NJSLA testing. They showed dedication, focus, and determination each day, and we commend them for giving their best effort.
Our recent theater show was phenomenal! We are so proud of all of our talented performers and hardworking stage crew members who helped make the production such a success. Their creativity, teamwork, and commitment truly shined on stage. Thank you to all the OMH&S volunteers as this event wouldn't be possible without them!
In addition, our band and chorus students put on an amazing concert for families and staff to enjoy. A special thank you goes to Ms. Swinchoski and Ms. Berube for the outstanding job they do working with our musicians and helping them grow their talents throughout the year.
We are also looking forward to Field Day this week! Students should come prepared with a reusable water bottle and a towel to help them stay comfortable and hydrated during the day’s activities.
Thank you for your continued support as we finish the school year strong!

WTPS Appoints Dr. David Bleakley as New Superintendent of Schools
As you are aware, Dr. Handerhan announced back in the fall that she will be retiring at the end of this school year. Since then, the Wall Township Board of Education has been actively engaged in the search for a new Superintendent of Schools. At last night’s Board of Education Meeting, the Board of Education appointed Dr. David Bleakley as the next WTPS Superintendent of Schools, effective July 1, 2026. Dr. Bleakley brings with him over 20 years of educational experience, and the Board of Education is thrilled to welcome him to the District.
