RENAISSANCE CELEBRATION REWARDS STUDENT SUCCESS RENAISSANCE CELEBRATION REWARDS STUDENT SUCCESS

Students recently enjoyed an exciting Renaissance event filled with fun activities and special treats as a reward for their hard work throughout the school year! Students who earned enough Ren points through strong grades, positive behavior, and good attendance were invited to participate in a variety of activities including basketball, volleyball, kickball, Kerplunk, bracelet making, face painting, and a giant inflatable obstacle course.

A special thank you goes to Chucky D’s Sweet Treats and Pop Pop Soda Shop for attending the event and providing delicious treats for students to purchase and enjoy during the celebration. We would also like to recognize the Renaissance Committee for planning an entire year of rewards, incentives, and surprises that encouraged students to make positive choices and strive for success all year long.

Library services are drawing to a close for the year, and we have had some excellent reading experiences, with a read-a-thon, Battle of the Books competition, awesome classes, and chill recesses. Remember to return all library materials before leaving for the summer. This is especially important for 8th graders- you do not want to start high school on the wrong foot.

Here is a fun video made by a school librarian in a different state to help you remember...
