Freaky Friday Edition

Event Day: Friday, October 17, 2025
Event Time: 5:00 - 6:30 PM

Description: Giant inflatables, thrilling games, creative crafts, a live DJ and dancing, an over-the-top popcorn & candy bar, a photo booth, and more!! Don't miss this awesome night! Open to all current HMS students!

Doors open at 5:00 PM. Families who purchased a ticket in advance, your child will be given their wristband at school on Friday afternoon. Students should wear this wristband through the end of the event.

If you did not purchase a ticket and would like your child to attend, you are welcome to purchase a ticket for $30 at the door. A parent must be present with their child to buy a ticket at the door. The parent doesn't need to stay at the event, but must be present at the time of purchase.

If you aren't sure if you purchased a ticket, you're welcome to log onto your Membership Toolkit through the PTO and see your recent transaction history.

• Freaky Friday is entirely outside! Dress for the weather!
• Costumes are limited to clothing and make-up only. Students who bring props may be asked to keep them at the volunteer table until after the event. We recommend leaving all of these items at home so that your child can enjoy all of the attractions without losing important parts to their costume.
• Create a dismissal plan with your child(ren) so that they know how they get home from the event, walking or by car only.
• Students cannot bring bikes, skateboards, or scooters into the event space. Our bike racks will not be available as they are during the school day.

Students can only arrive to the event by walking or by car. Bike racks are unavailable during this event.

• 5th Graders will arrive to the back blacktop and enter near House 2 and the blue hallway.
• 6th Graders will arrive to "Door O" located near Gym B and the blue hallway.

Again, doors open at 5:00 PM. Students can line up, wait patiently, and enter through the assigned doors.

All students have been shown our Freaky Friday behavior expectations video. If you'd like to review it with your child(ren) ahead of the event, we've provided you with the embedded video below.

Pick up begins promptly at 6:30 PM. Students can only dismiss by walking or by car. Students will exit the event through the same doors they've arrived from:

• 5th Graders will dismiss to the back blacktop from the blue hallway.
• 6th Graders will dismiss to "Door O" located near Gym B from the blue hallway.

Please make prepare these dismissal arrangements with your child(ren) ahead of the event. Students are responsible for managing their dismissal plan. While the PTO will provide supervision with parent volunteers, it is up to students to navigate the plans they've determined with their families.

Clean-up from the event will begin right after 6:30 PM.
