A Note from the PHS Parents’ Club
And just like that — it’s summer. (You deserve a gold star if you're still reading the Friday Newsletters!) Yesterday was the last day of school, and last night we had the privilege of watching our seniors walk across the beautiful stage and say good-bye to Mr. Scherman . I would like to take a moment to thank all of the amazing folks who helped make all of the Senior events this past week happen -- as you will see it takes a lot of people to make these special moments happen for our kids:
- 10th Grade Parent Reps - Claire Arno, Liz Cha Foster, Cassie Cyphers, Michelle Heafey & Tiffany Hong - thank you so much for handling Senior Sunset.
- 11th Grade Parent Reps - Amy Cordani, Charlotte Ero, Kim Hunter, Janet Lai & Sabrina Smith - thank you for making Grad Night so special.
- 12th Grade Parent Reps - Barbara Dickason, Michelle Heafey & Jenny Osman - thank you for everything you've done to make ALL of the senior events this week and over the last year magical. The Senior class is in your debt for all your hard work into making this special year even more so.
Before you completely go into summer mode, we’d love for you to get involved! The Walk-Through Registration team has sent out volunteer sign-ups (above)— it’s a wonderful way to help start the year off and a great first step if you’ve been looking for a way to connect with the Parents’ Club.
We've also updated our website with next year’s meeting dates, so you can get them on the calendar before the summer slips away.
Warmly,
Andrea Zambrana

PHS Graduation Video
Congratulations to the class of 2026. It as a fantastic day, and we thank all our families and special guests for coming out to celebrate with our seniors. I apologize in advance about the restricted video of graduation. It missed about the first 30 minutes of the ceremony. We will work to build redundancies in our system to ensure this does not happen again.
Class of 2026 - PUSD Gmail Expiration and Google TakeOut For Files
This may be your last task before you say your final good-bye to your high school.
Your PUSD email will become inaccessible on July 3, 2026, so:
- Make sure to change any accounts that use your PUSD email address for login purposes if you want to maintain access to them. Most notably, possibly, your College Board account.
- If you have any projects, essays or assignments you wish to keep, you have some options on how to transfer them from your PUSD account to either a personal Gmail account or as MS Office files locally to your computer.
Read the instructions carefully, as there are various options.

Cap & Gown Day a Huge Success!
Cap & Gown Day took place this past Wednesday at all our elementary schools. Thank you to all the parent chaperones, teachers, support staff and administrators at our elementary schools for being amazing hosts. There was a lot of joy and plenty of tears to go around. I've shared my collage with the principals for future use.

Counseling Corner:
End-of-year Update
Hello families,
As the year comes to a close and students are working hard to get their final assignments submitted, the counseling office is organizing credit recovery for students who received a D or an F. Please check Schoology with your student to confirm whether or not they will need credit recovery over the summer. If you believe your student will require credit recovery, please reach out to their counselor for next steps.
From,
The Counseling Office
