Leadership Message Leadership Message

zoom_out_map

Always ready to Help!

We are always excited to see our student leaders hard at work answering phones, welcoming guests and helping fellow students in the office. It's great for our little STL beans to see our big STL students helping out and serving others. Keep up the great work!

🧡 🧡 🧡 🧡 🧡 🧡 🧡 🧡 🧡

Over the next couple weeks we will be co-leaders at St. Luke. We feel blessed to work collaboratively to make St. Luke a great place to learn and work. We have lots of activities going on in the next few weeks so please carefully read this entire S'more to keep everyone informed.

February's theme for scripture quotes is "Strength and Courage" featuring Bible verses about being strong and courageous. Fear not, for the Lord is with us. He will strengthen us and help us through adversity.

This is a wonderful message as we all navigate through the school year. It's also a great message as we wrap up our month of Love and lean into the Lent next month. It's all about the strength and courage to love big, love more, love all.

Blessings,

Mme Pamela Gravelle & Mrs. Gail Greene

💗Congratulations to the grade 4 girls who modeled exceptional love this week. It happened to be one of their classmates birthdays on the day of their Grade 4 Girls group. Together, with Mrs. McCann, they planned a surprise birthday party during Girls Group for their friend! Way to celebrate each other, girls!

Black History Month Black History Month

zoom_out_map
Black History Month is a time to honor and celebrate the achievements and contributions of the Black Canadians who are often absent from history books, but helped shape the settlement, growth and development of Canada into the diverse, inclusive and prosperous nation it is today. At St. Luke we will be participating in many activities to understand and celebrate this month including...Drumming from this week!

Could you Represent STL @ GrACE? Could you Represent STL @ GrACE?

open_in_new zoom_out_map

GrACE is calling on an STL Representative

GrACE's mision is to inspire, invigorate and embolden the spirit of Catholic education in order to unite, engage, educate and communicate with one voice. They are calling on our community to have one or two representatives to join GrACE and be a conduit between that committee and our amazing school. It's a great way to know what's happening with Catholic Education in EICS, Alberta and beyond, connect with other Faith-filled parents and advocate for meaningful opportunities for our precious children.
