HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all the mothers and caregivers.

Random Searches

Out of an abundance of caution, school administration conducted random searches last week on Tuesday, April 30th, Friday, May 3rd , and Monday May 6th, when students arrived at school. Providing a safe and secure learning environment is a top priority. Security measures such as these searches are in place to help us maintain a safe school and an environment where students are free to focus on learning. As a part of our commitment to keeping our school community safe, we will continue to administer random searches.

Multiplying Good

Each spring, the Students In Action (SIA) teams with Multiplying Good participate in an End-of-Year Celebration, an event that showcases their community service impact. This year, the celebration was held at the Museum of Science, in a room with expansive windows offering stunning views of the Charles River and Boston skyline. Our students presented their service learning projects, sharing the significant impact of their efforts.

Teams present on their projects and receive a Service Resume and a "Multiplying Good Certificate of Excellence," which summarizes and honors their annual contributions.

This year's focus was on enhancing school culture at Chelsea High School through the introduction of "Fiesta Friday." Every other Friday, students are invited to participate in games during lunch where they can win prizes and enjoy snacks. Our goal is to establish Fiesta Friday as a lasting tradition that fosters community spirit and enhances the school culture.

Their presentation had to focus on: Process; Impact; and Learning. The students' presentation was amazing and we were so proud of them. They represented Chelsea very well in front of over 100 people from all around the Boston area.

This event not only celebrates our students' dedication but also encourages ongoing community involvement.
