2026-27 school year
Superintendent's Welcome Back to School Letter
Dear Bristol Township School Community,
Welcome back for the 2026-27 school year!
I hope everyone had a great summer and had the opportunity to relax and spend time with family and friends.
As we move through this last week of summer and head towards Labor Day, I am excited about the new school year, welcoming back students and staff, and the potential for achievement that awaits all the children coming back to their classrooms. The beginning of a new school year is always a special time. It is a wonderful feeling to see our students returning to their schools, and I am excited to see the many things they will accomplish this year in academics, activities, the arts, and athletics.
For both our students and staff, the new year brings fresh challenges and goals, and we are enthusiastic about opening our doors to our students and beginning our efforts to make this school year successful for all our stakeholders. Our main goal is for each and every student to have a beneficial and rewarding learning experience in a positive and supportive educational environment.
It is important to us that we are connected to our school community and that there is a bridge between our classrooms and the home. Please join us for our Back to School Nights and get to know our staff and programs. Also, take advantage of the many technological tools that exist to provide you with valuable information about our schools and your child’s progress. Check our new website frequently, follow us on social media, and share our stories and updates with your family and friends. As educators, it is our goal to be accessible and available to the community we serve, and showcase all the great things taking place in our schools.
In closing, I frequently remind students that if they take pride in their school, then their school will be a place of which to be proud. To our parents, we need your support to be successful; please stay involved and connected to the schools, and support our work and endeavors. To our staff, thank you for your work on behalf of our students; please know that your efforts are valued and appreciated. Finally, to our students, work hard, be respectful, and approach your studies with enthusiasm.
Best wishes for a great school year to all in the Bristol Township School Community!
Sincerely,
Michael Nitti

BTSD Launches New Website
Bristol Township School District was excited to launch a new, more accessible website over the summer. The District partnered with Edlio, a K–12 communications platform serving more than 19,000 schools across North America, on the project.
The new website features a built-in accessibility tool that reviews all school website content for ADA Title II compliance and fixes it. Under federal guidelines, Pennsylvania school districts serving populations over 50,000, such as BTSD, must comply with WCAG 2.1 Level AA by April 26, 2027.
Bristol Township School District is committed to inclusivity, and our new website allows us to ensure everyone is included and can access all content. The website is also more user-friendly for families to navigate and for staff members to update content in the back-end.
New Curriculum Maps Available
Visit the Teaching and Learning Department's webpage to view the curriculum content taught at the elementary, middle, and high schools. The curriculum team has been working hard to add this content over the summer. If something is not listed, it is either being updated or will be added soon. Thank you for your patience!
