Academy Announcements
Dear Academy families and friends,
March is here! While only a few days into the month, it is sure shaping up to be a very active month.
- We are excited for the return of the annual fundraiser, the Fun Run. Click here for more fun run information. The big run is scheduled for March 25th!!! WE need the whole school to take part.
- Our next ROAR assembly is this Friday where we will recognize our student exemplars for the month of February.
- The ST Math Challenge is on. Students should be working on ST Math puzzles nightly as well as weekend to help Academy get to the finals.
- The Two Bite Club is back. Students are challenged to try new foods from the different food groups and turn in the forms with their names on it. This round is focusing on Vegetables and grade 1 is in the lead with the most submissions. There is still plenty of time to participate and help your grade level win the extra recess time!!!
- 3 on 3 Basketball Team Sign Ups are due March 11. This is one of our favorite events!
- March 11-15 is our next spirit week! A flyer will be going home this week for families to get in on the fun.
- MCAS exams begin at the end of the month with the 5th grade students. On Monday, March 4th, all 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders will need their chromebooks fully charged and updates (go to settings and click about OS>>check for updates). Academy will be conducting the infrastructure trial to make sure our technology needs are operational and ready.
- Last but not least, remember that Tuesday, March 5 is a "non-school day" for students.
Be sure to follow up on our socials and weekly emails!
