Intent to Return for the 2023-24 School Year
We are excited to begin thinking about and planning for next year! In order to plan appropriately, we need your help! Please complete one form for each child enrolled.
Thank you for helping us plan for a fantastic 2023-2024 school year!
THIS SURVEY SERVES AS A PLANNING TOOL ONLY, AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE REGISTRATION OR FORMAL TRANSFER REQUESTS.
Join us on Saturday, April 29th to Dance for Luke!
Saturday, April 29th from 3-5 PM, we will be holding a dance-a-thon for former Bobcat Luke Laurenson. Luke is a senior this year, and to make life a little easier and more accessible, his mom needs a handicapped accessible van.
To raise donations for this project, you can collect per song pledges and/or flat donations. Checks can be made payable to “Luke’s Angels” and will be deposited into that account at Rogue Federal. This is the preferred method of donation. If a digital option is more doable for folks, they can contribute to the Go Fund Me link: https://www.gofundme.com/f/ashland-highs-shake-it-off-for-luke?member=23652371&utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet&utm_content=undefined&utm_medium=copy_link_all&utm_source=customer&utm_term=undefined
People can also make a flat donation at the door on the day of the dance if they would like to join us. There is a pledge form attached below. To find out a little more about Luke, watch his YouTube video!
Parenting Series: Moving Into the Middle School Years: Critical Parenting Practices During Your Child’s Tween Years
Wednesday, April 12, 6:00-7:30 pm
Helman Elementary School, Cafeteria
We often think of the middle school years as a period filled with awkward social interactions, a constant desire “to belong” and the confusion created by big physical and emotional changes. Fortunately, many of the normal changes that can feel challenging for our kids, can also create wonderful and exciting opportunities for growth and connection.
The more we understand about normal growth and development during these years, the more confidently (and calmly) we can parent.
Please join Rebecca Gyarmathy (AMS Assistant Principal), Diane Berry (ASD Counseling/Behavioral Health Coordinator), our Child Development Specialists and a panel of 8th grade students for a brief overview of effective parenting strategies and approaches for your almost-middle school age child.
Childcare and snacks are provided for this event, register through Eventbright here: https://www.eventbrite.com/cc/asd-elementary-parent-workshop-series-spring-2023-1730729
