January Message
Selma Families,
Happy New Year!
I hope this message finds you and your family refreshed and ready for an exciting year ahead. As we begin 2026, I want to express my gratitude for your continued support and partnership in your child’s education. Together, we’ve built a strong foundation, and I’m confident this year will bring even more growth and success for our students.
Our focus remains on creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive. We encourage you to stay connected through our newsletters, school events, and parent-teacher communication. Your involvement makes a tremendous difference!
Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s learning journey. Let’s make 2026 a year filled with curiosity, achievement, and joy!
Warm regards,
Dr. Melissa Martinez
Principal
Arrival & Dismissal Traffic Reminders
Selma families please be sure that we are following our traffic plan for arrival and dismissal.
- Please do not drop off students in the bus lane.
- At arrival please do not park in the car line and walk up to the door, we need to keep the car rider line moving, if your students need help, our staff will help them out of the car
- At dismissal it is important to have your car tag to ensure the safety of our students. The safety of all is important to us so we also ask you not to exit your vehicle while actively in the dismissal lane.
- All walkers should walk home safely along the sidewalk, it is not a car rider pick up location.
- We do not allow early dismissal after 2:30 and walk ups during the time of dismissal.
Please be sure you have your blue card on the dash of your vehicle, if you do not have it, we will ask you to park and come inside to school to receive a new card with your identification.
