Superintendent's Monday Magi Message
Happy Monday Magi Families
I hope you're enjoying our Monday updates on important events, reminders, and glimpses into our schools' activities with our students and educators. This week, I'd like to thank the talented students and Mrs. Annette Wagner for their great efforts in bringing "Keeping Up With The Magi" to our homes throughout the school year. This newsletter is distributed to all Colon, Sherwood & Leonidas residents via US Mail. If you haven't received your latest issue yet, watch your mailbox—it should arrive soon. You can also catch up on past issues on our website.
In this flashback photo from last fall, two outstanding students from CHS, Taryn Carter and Troy Cole, interviewed me for the fall issue. It's truly wonderful to see our students contributing to our community through content creation, and we couldn't be prouder of their work!
Wishing you, your families, and all members of our community a truly magical week ahead.
Warm regards,
Mrs. Kowalski

Fake Spring Leads High School Outside
Yesterday's Health Class with Mr. Stoll was all about embracing the outdoors and soaking up that Vitamin D! With temperatures just right, we took our learning outside, improving our overall well-being while also contributing to a healthier community and environment. It's amazing how a little fresh air and sunshine can make such a big difference!
Fake Spring Leads DK Outside
It might be cold today, but DK Teacher Ms. Bower sent us these yesterday, "What better to do on a 70-degree day than soaking up the sunshine and practicing writing numbers 1-20 with chalk!"
Award-winning poet Nandi Comer visited CES and CHS
Award-winning poet Nandi Comer visited CES and CHS today! She shared her experience and passion for poetry with our students. As Michigan's Poet Laureate appointed by the Library of Michigan, she visits schools around Michigan to promote poetry and literary arts statewide, and we were fortunate to have her share her talents with our school community. During her visit, students engaged in writing sessions with her. We're immensely grateful for Ms. Comer's visit today. Exposing our students to her remarkable talent is inspiring and provides invaluable insights into the world of poetry and literary arts.
