Dear Churchill Families,

We kicked off Women's History Month last week by highlighting the remarkable women who helped to shape our nation. Ask your student if they remember hearing about Susan B. Anthony, Clara Barton, and Amelia Earhart!

We also had a fun assembly on Friday to celebrate the end of Trimester 2. Be sure to check out the pictures below!

As a friendly reminder, please ensure that your student has a fully charged laptop and headphones for IAR Week, which will take place from March 17th to March 21st.

Our next monthly meeting will be March 19th in the morning from 9-10am in the Churchill Conference Room. We will continue to discuss ways to improve home to school communication, parent volunteerism and attendance. Please RSVP below.

Arrival Time:

• To ensure the safety of your student, the earliest they should arrive to school is 8:15am. We do not have supervision until 8:15am. The tardy bell rings at 8:30am. If you have any questions please call the main office at 708-798-3424.

Early Dismissal or Transportation Change:

• If a student needs to be picked up early or a transportation change is needed, please call the main office at 708.798.3424, before 2:30pm. You may also send a written note to school with your student. They must bring it to the main office.
• The next early dismissal is Wednesday, March 19th. Students will be dismissed at 12 noon. If you need to make a transportation change, please call the main office before 11:15am.

Lunch Drop Off:

• Food delivery services such as Uber Eats, Door Dash, etc., are not allowed and will be returned.
• Parents/Guardians may drop off lunch for students 20 minutes before the lunch period begins.
• Lunch period times are:
• 3rd grade 10:40am
• 4th grade 11:30am
• 5th Grade 12:15pm

2. Parent Advisory Meeting, Wednesday, March 19th, from 9-10am at Churchill School
3. Early Dismissal at 12 noon - 3/19/25
4. Lost and Found Donation to Goodwill is Friday, March 28th. Please remind your student to check the lost and found to claim their items.
5. Spring Break Monday, 3/31 - Friday, 4/4/25 - School Resumes Monday, 4/7/25
6. ISA for 5th Grade Only - 4/8/25 - 4/11/25
