Byam Unified Games Day students did a great job at McCarthy field and had fun at the games day stations! The rain held off to create a perfect weather day for the event. Thank you to Ms. Quinn and Ms. Camire for helping to plan this great event, and all our staff who support such a successful day.

4th Grade had a great Grade 4 States Festival with students and families. Thank you to our fourth grade staff for coordinating this annual event.

On Friday, June 6th, the Byam School will be having their Field Day!!! Each grade level will have the opportunity to travel around and experience different activity stations and demonstrate some of the skills they have learned this year.

Participants should bring water bottles with their name for this event. Students should be dressed in comfortable clothes and sneakers. If it is sunny, students should consider wearing sunscreen and a hat to school. Please let me know if you have any questions : quinnc@chelmsford.k12.ma.us

Thank you to everyone who has responded to the family survey. Our district values your feedback! For families who have not taken the below survey yet, we are currently surveying The Chelmsford Public Schools families in order to gain insight into your perception of our school and district's effectiveness. We also want to better understand barriers to families accessing our schools and programs. To ensure we continue to provide high quality, rigorous learning experiences that meet the needs of our learners and prepare them for college and career, we need your feedback. We want to know what you think.

To administer these surveys, we have partnered with Panorama Education to conduct our 2025 Family Survey as we did in 2023 and 2024 as well. Panorama safeguards your privacy, keeping your responses anonymous. The survey shouldn’t take more than a few minutes to complete and will be a valuable source of information for us as we work to make our schools and district as good as they can be.

If you have multiple CPS school-aged children, please feel free to fill out multiple surveys to represent each individual child’s experience. The first question on the survey will be a dropdown to select which school you are filling the survey out for.

With the School year coming to a close and Summer right around the corner, Byam has some summer essential resources available for families. Any families who can benefit from additional support should fill out the form below. The BSA struggles with trying to keep you informed without flooding your inbox. We understand some don't have the bandwidth to know more, while others are looking to get more involved...but don't know where to start. If you are one of those people looking to know more please take a moment to fill out the attached form. This does not lock you into anything but helps us filter our "extra" communication more directly to people looking to be more involved with the BSA!
