COUNSELORS CORNER
Juniors and Seniors: Starting with the class of 2027, the state of Texas has a brand-new graduation requirement. It involves an online tool called My Texas Future, where you create an account to be matched with colleges that might be a fit for you. To meet the graduation requirement, you must either create an account and submit documentation in Xello or complete opt out paperwork (available in Senior Hub or counseling office) and submit to your counselor. Seniors, this needs to be completed by May 3rd to ensure documentation for graduation.
This requirement is super simple and only takes about 10 minutes to complete!
You received an e-mail blast with a link to the flyer which provides completion instructions. To get started, login to Xello through Class Link. This new graduation requirement is at the top of your To Do List. Juniors if you want to get a jump start, you can do this as well!
The Mansfield ISD Multischolarship Application is open for seniors now through February 24, 2027. Please donβt wait until the last minute to apply.

Launching Soon: Ignition, the First Phase of a New Texas Aerospace Experience for High School Seniors!
Texas Aerospace Scholars (TAS) is an immersive STEM learning opportunity for Texas students, designed to inspire the next generation of explorers through direct engagement with NASAβs missions and STEM career pathways.
The new senior experience begins with Ignition, a 10-week online course focused on developing technical skills associated with NASA's Artemis missions and future lunar surface operations. Students will investigate topics such as lunar infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, habitat systems, and dust mitigation while developing skills in computer-aided design (CAD) using Onshape, an industry-recognized platform. Through research, design challenges, and collaboration, students will gain hands-on experience solving technology gaps related to establishing a sustainable human presence on the Moon.
