A short message from Mr. Schulte
I hope this newsletter finds you well and filled with the excitement of the upcoming spring season. As we transition into March, I am pleased to share some highlights and important updates from Archie MS/HS.
With the arrival of spring comes the anticipation of track, softball, and baseball beginning. Our spring sports teams are gearing up for exciting seasons ahead. Let's show our support for our athletes by attending games and cheering them on to victory. Go Whirlwinds! Also, please be mindful to look at the school calender for updates on locations, schedules, and changes due to weather and other happenings.
A well-deserved break is just around the corner! Spring break will be March 11th-15th, offering students and staff a chance to recharge and prepare for the busy remainder of the school year.
As we look ahead to the final stretch of the school year, let us remain focused on our goals and committed to achieving excellence in all endeavors. Together, we will continue to foster a culture of learning, growth, and success at Arcie MS/HS.

Updates from Academic Services
A+
A+: The most overlooked requirement to earn A+ money is a score of Proficient/Advanced on Algebra I or higher math EOC. As we prepare for EOCs please have your student reach out to a math teacher or Mrs. Mell if he or she is unsure about having met this requirement, or if he or she is unsure about needing to take a math EOC this spring.
Other eligibility requirements for A+:
Overall unweighted grade point average of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale
Have at least a 95% attendance record overall for grades 9-12, which usually equates to approximately no more than 30 days missed over four years
Perform at least 50 hours of unpaid tutoring or mentoring
Maintain a record of good citizenship (no OSS/ISS) and avoid the unlawful use of drugs and/or alcohol while in grades 9-12
Have achieved a score of proficient or advanced on the Algebra I end of course exam or a higher level DESE approved end-of-course exam in the field of mathematics or reach a designated score on ACT math
If you need updates on your A+ hours and other eligibility requirements, please contact Mrs. Macrander in Academic Services.
State Testing
Be on the lookout for information regarding state testing. End of Course (EOC) and Missouri Grade Level Assessments (MAP) are just around the corner. Students enrolled in Algebra I, English II, Biology, and Government will take an EOC for that class. Students who need to retake a math EOC for A+ eligibility will have the option to take Algebra I or Geometry. All students in grades 6th-8th grades will be required to take the MAP test. Testing will begin mid April. More details to come...
