Highlights of the week!
Coleman Families,
What a week it has been! Despite an unexpected snow and ice day on Wednesday, our students and staff continued to demonstrate kindness throughout the week.
On Monday evening, Dr. Schwierjohn visited with the Coleman PTO to discuss Proposition M, which will be on the ballot in April. PTO members asked thoughtful questions and had the opportunity to hear from Dr. Schwierjohn about the importance and impact of Prop M.
Tuesday brought an exciting performance from the Coleman Poms at the JV girls' basketball game. A big shoutout to our amazing coaches, Ms. Devine and Mrs. Peirick, for their dedication and support of our Pom Pom team!
With the snow day on Wednesday, we rescheduled our Kindness Assembly to Thursday, and it was a huge success! Our Warriors collected over 270 boxes of cereal, and the Read, Right, Run Club helped Mrs. Wengler-Gomez create a kindness domino display for all students to enjoy.
On Friday morning, our Coleman family groups came together to complete the gingerbread house challenge, work on their family flags, and take part in fun Valentine's Day activities and crafts. It was a wonderful way to wrap up a week filled with kindness and community spirit.
Thank you to all students, staff, and families for making this week so special. Have a fantastic weekend!
Best regards,
Dr. Quanz
Principal
