Principal's Corner

Dear Parents and Community Members,

Happy Friday! We have had lots of exciting things going on in the building this week: Red Ribbon spirit week, getting ready for Carnival, staff spirit wear contest, student attendance prizes,… it has been a busy, but exciting, week!

We had our quarter 1 attendance prize drawing for students this week. Students who have been at school at least 95% of the time had their name entered into a drawing for gift cards. Congratulations to our three winners: Carter Crawford, Koltynn Abbott, and Elliana Witt. Way to go!

Staff members competed in a “Who dressed the best?” contest this week. Since this week was spirit week, staff members dressed up according to the spirit day, had their picture taken and then all staff voted on who was dressed the best. It was a fun week for staff to show off their spirit!

If you have a student in grades 4-12 who has an interest in archery, there will be a parent meeting on Thursday, November 2 at 3:30pm in the cafeteria. If you have any questions please reach out to Ms. Davis or Mr. Saylor.

Tonight is Carnival, so come out and enjoy some fun with your family. We will have games, snacks, drinks, cake walk, chili supper, 60/40 drawing, raffle, silent auction, face painting and more! Doors open at 6pm. See you there!

If you have a student in need of a winter coat or shoes, please reach out to the school. We have resources available to help with this if finances are a concern.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out. My door is always open and I am always willing to help however I can. Have a wonderful weekend!

Sincerely,

Kyla Kirtley

Principal
