Dear Rocket Families,
We had another wonderful week at Rutherfordton Elementary!!! We recognized students for perfect attendance, those with 100% Dojo, students who were selected by their teachers for showcasing kindness on a daily basis and those who go above and beyond to be a great student, a great citizen, a great classmate and an OUTSTANDING RUTHERFORDTON ROCKET! We look forward to celebrating our student recognitions for the 4th 6 Weeks!!
Over the next several weeks our school media coordinator, Ms. Oliver, will be diving into digital citizenship lessons with all grade levels. This week, students will be discussing privacy and safety online. Below you will find parent handouts in both English and Spanish so you can discuss and reinforce the importance of privacy and safety online.
Please help us spread the word regarding KINDERPALOOZA which will be held Tuesday, February 18. This is a fun event put on by Rutherford County Schools to get rising kindergarteners excited about starting school. Kinderpalooza will be from 4:00-6:30 at the Foundation at Isothermal Community College. Please help us spread the word!
