I'm Back!

Last Wednesday was my first day back from maternity leave. Please contact me to schedule a meeting. I'd love to see how I can support you with your current curriculum!

Web Presence

Nice job to everyone who has been working to update their site this year! Just a reminder that the final web presence deadline is March 2. At that time, your web site/blog should include homework expectations and major assignments/upcoming projects.

I will be offering a session during Wednesday's QIT EdCamp. If you're interested, sign up and join me in the LRC classroom at 3:45!

Osmo

Attention primary teachers! Are you looking for an easy, engaging way to spice up your centers? Check out Osmo!

Osmo uses reflective technology to interact with any iPad and can be used to play 5 free apps that are available for download in the app store (*Numbers--NEW!, Tangrams, Words, Newton, and Masterpiece). The system costs $99 and includes the necessary pieces for Numbers, Tangrams, and Words (the others just require pen and paper).

Check out the video below to see Osmo in action. Let me know if you're interested in trying it out in your classroom.

*Please note that the Washington Osmo set does NOT include the Numbers tiles.

Osmo. Play Beyond the Screen.

Hapara

Do you need a refresher on the new Hapara interface? Contact me, and learn how to quickly share documents, open websites, and send messages to your entire class! Hapara also allows you to view your students' Google Drive and web activity.

To access Hapara, select the Hapara Dashboard icon in your Chrome Apps, or simply go to www.teacherdashboard.com.

Looking ahead: I am offering 2 sessions on Hapara for the February 5th Staff Development Day!

Check out the latest green screen announcements here!
Big thanks to Mrs. Born, Mrs. Cahill, and their students!
