BMHS Soccer Wins Southern Lakes Conference Championship!
The Crown Belongs to Beloit Memorial!
The Beloit Memorial Soccer defeated Elkhorn on Tuesday night with a 5-0 to win the first soccer conference championship in program history! This also marks the first time a team sport has won an outright conference championship since we moved to the Southern Lakes Conference.
Banks Denu scored 4 goals on the night while Braulio Guzman-Gaytan also found the back of the net. Adan Munoz had three assists and John Anthony Aburto added one for the Purple Knights. Braylen Huebbe made 7 great saves and the defense led by David Romero, Jesse Chavez, Manny Giles and Angel Aguilar played one of their best games of the year! Winning the Southern Lakes Conference Championship is an amazing accomplishment for this entire group of young men! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the team last night Go Knights!

Dare to Dream Construction Competition
BMHS Students recently participated in Career Tek's Dare to Dream Construction Competition, putting their skills, teamwork, and creativity to the test!
Students had just three hours to design and construct a doghouse that will ultimately be donated to a local animal shelter. What a great way to take their learning beyond the classroom while using their skills to give back to our community!
A huge than you to Career Tek and all of the sponsors who made this fantastic opportunity possible for our students. We appreciate your investment in our students, their futures, and our community!
Attendance Corner
Regular school attendance is an important part of student success. This year, our district is working together to improve attendance and decrease chronic absenteeism.
Every school day matters, and every student matters. Our goal is not simply to count days present, it is to help students build the routines, relationships, and support systems that help them attend school regularly and be ready to learn.
Throughout the school year, we will share a monthly Attendance Corner with a quick fact and a practical tip families can use at home. Attendance looks different across ages, but the message
is the same from 4K through 12th grade: being at school, on time, and ready to learn gives students more opportunities to learn, connect, and succeed.
During October...
DID YOU KNOW?
A strong attendance habit starts with a strong routine. Missing just a few days here and there can add up over the course of a school year. Being at school every day possible helps students stay connected to instruction, classmates, and their teachers.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
Create a school-night routine that makes mornings easier. Set a consistent bedtime, prepare clothes and backpacks the night before, and build in enough time for breakfast and getting to school on time.
Newsletter Callout: Start the year by helping your child establish a predictable morning and evening routine.
