Grade 5 Residency Verification: This fall the Weymouth School Committee updated Policy JF: School Admissions to require a verification of residency for students in Grade 5. Families of students in Grade 5 will need to re-establish residency in Weymouth before transitioning to the Maria Weston Chapman Middle School next year. This procedure will enable our district to maintain accurate residency and registration data while confirming continued enrollment eligibility. More information can be found here: Gr. 5 Residency Verification

Required proof of residency documents must be submitted between January 12, 2026, and May 29, 2026. Failure to complete residency verification by May 29, 2026 may affect your child’s enrollment, and they may not have a schedule or be able to participate in school activities at the start of the 2026-2027 school year.
