International Fest is quickly approaching on March 25th! We are looking for volunteers to host tables AND join our Planning Committee!

So far - we have tables representing the following countries:

• Colombia
• Costa Rica
• Hungary
• Israel
• Ireland
• South Africa
• Taiwan
• Ukraine
• India
• Latvia
• Peru
• Pakistan

Our 3rd and 4th Graders will enjoy a virtual visit from New York Times bestselling author Dan Gutman on March 8th!

Use this link to purchase some of Dan's famous titles such as the "My Weird School" series, "The Homework Machine" and more! Books ordered through our exclusive RES link will be personalized for your student and signed by Dan himself! 20% of book sales will go to the RES PTA!

We are so excited to announce our end of school celebration! Redding will be taking over Quassy Amusement Park in Middlebury, CT (40 minutes from RES) on Friday June 2nd starting at 4:30pm.

Tickets will go on sale March 1 (we will be offering a special discounted price to PTA members - so join today!) Park will be closed to the public and reserved for our event! Free parking.

Sign ups for RES PTA Spring Family Photos are now open! Justin Baiad will be back on April 15th (rain date April 16th) to take photos at the gorgeous daffodil fields in Redding located at 70 Cross Highway.

We are collecting photos for the 4th grade yearbook! Each month, we'll have a '"theme" you can submit to. For January, please submit photos from your 4th Grader's....

Festival Volunteers

Our International Fest is scheduled for March 25, and STEAM Festival is coming up in April! These events can't happen without help from our amazing volunteers! We will be circulating a SignUp Genius with specific sign ups for each event, but please let us know if you are interested in helping out!

Parenting Initiatives Lead

Volunteers create opportunities for parents and caregivers to participate and learn. Our volunteers select topics, establish an agenda, and coordinate a wide array of initiatives and programs, including but certainly not limited to, classes, discussions, meetups, speakers, and workshops on topics ranging from education to parent support.

Sharing this for our 4th grade families! The committee is looking for parent volunteers to assist with the Battle of the Books Story Map Check-in.

If your student is in need of spirit wear and unable to purchase due to financial reasons, please e-mail us. The RES PTA has angel donations that can cover spirit wear. We do not want any students to feel left out. All requests are kept confidential.

Did you know they have story time on Thursdays for 3/4 year olds? Perfect activity to do after preschool pickup!
