A Message from the Principal
We are officially in the final stretch of the school year with just 7½ days left! The end of the year always brings lots of excitement, fun activities, celebrations, field trips, and special memories for our students.
While there is still plenty of fun ahead, it is also important that students continue to finish the year strong both academically and behaviorally. Attendance, effort, positive choices, and staying focused in class still matter all the way through the last day of school.
Please help remind your child to continue showing respect, keeping their hands to themselves, staying caught up on assignments, and making good decisions so everyone can enjoy these final days safely and positively. Let’s work together to make the last 7½ days a successful and memorable finish to a great school year at Jefferson West Middle School!

Here to Help- Supporting student Success with Ms. Andrews
As we near the end of the year, I want to remind families that our community has many wonderful resources available to support students and families throughout the summer months. Whether your family may need help with food assistance, mental health support, parent resources, clothing, medical care, or school supplies, there are organizations ready to help.
Attached is a Community Resource Guide with information about services and programs available in Jefferson County.
As a reminder, USD 340 also has our TIger Closet, which provides new or gently used clothing completely free to all students. Please reach out to me at payton.andrews@usd340.org if you have any questions.
