Thank you to the Schweitzer staff and members of the PTO Sweetheart Dance Committee for volunteering and creating a memorable 2020 Sweetheart Dance at Schweitzer Elementary! It was so much fun dancing and grooving with everyone on the dance floor! It was wonderful seeing everyone with their special someone. Mrs. Adamson also worked hard to host the Book Fair all week as well as have the Book Fair available the night of the dance. Thank you to all the parent volunteers that came to help with the Book Fair in the library during class times. What a great opportunity to promote love of reading in school and at home!

The #StandUp Neshaminy Sunset Challenge 2K/5K is coming to Langhorne on May 1st at Maple Point Middle School in Langhorne, PA! This race is one part of a wide-ranging community effort to fight the epidemic of opioid abuse through education at all grade levels, sponsorship of clubs and activities that promote healthy life choices, and sharing help resources for those suffering from addiction and their families.

This family-friendly run will feature a new circular course for the 5k race that uses a brand new paved trail installed by Middletown Township this year, and winds through Middletown Community Park before returning to Maple Point. The 2k course remains on Maple Point’s extensive property.

Registration opens January 17 and early birds will be treated to discounts, so don’t wait! The registration website can be found at www.sunsetchallenge.org.

Neshaminy High School proudly presents Matilda, a musical based on the Roald Dahl book of the same name. This family-friendly production centers on a precocious 5-year-old girl who has the gift of telekinesis, who loves reading, overcomes obstacles caused by her family and school, and helps her teacher to reclaim her life.

Showtimes are Thursday, February 6 at 7pm; Friday, February 7 at 7pm; Saturday, February 8 at 1pm and 7pm; and a Sunday matinee on February 9 at 1pm in Theodore Kloos Auditorium at Neshaminy HS. Tickets are $10 (plus an online purchase fee) or $12 cash purchase at the door (subject to availability). Tickets can be purchased online at www.neshaminy.org/matilda.

Thank you to all families that sent in a donation for the PTO "SOUPER BOWL!" Together we are able to accomplish so much! These donations were given to the local Food Pantry.

We have Family Paint night coming up on Feb 27th. Order forms were due on Wednesday, February 19th. Thank you to those who have signed up to attend, donate and volunteer so far!

Thank you to those who participated in the Pencil grams and Valentine's pretzels!! We hope the students enjoyed the surprises from their special someone.
