Florida Sports Physical Requirements (Including EKG)

Most school districts require an annual physical for all student-athletes. And now, under Florida’s “Second Chance Act,” high school athletes (grades 9–12) are also required to complete an EKG (electrocardiogram) as part of sports clearance, and CareSpot has you covered!

Field day is May 26, 2026.

Scholars can wear field day shirt that is available on MySchoolBucks $15 with PE shorts or regular PE uniform.

The shirt sale bulk order needs to be in by May 7th. Price will go up starting May 8th. This is a school fundraiser.

Scholars will need to bring a water bottle that day.

Kona Ice Truck will be here at school. Scholars may purchase Kona Ice that day with cash.

The Lions Council will be looking for volunteers. Volunteers must have background check.

• Be sure to check lunch balances and send cash in or load funds through MSB.
• Review the menu with your scholar(s) in order to prepare them for the service line.

Literature and fairy tales awaken the moral imagination and help scholars see virtue lived out in characters they come to love. Reading literature aloud to scholars is something we practice at every age here at SJCA. This is a 4-week camp designed to keep kids active, engaged, and having FUN—just the way OTA does best.

• Location: St. Johns Classical Academy (Fleming Island)

• Days: Monday – Thursday

• Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
