As the cold weather approaches, students may want to wear layers. Please remember that only pullovers, sweaters, and sweatshirts on the approved uniform list from Educational Apparel may be worn.

Spirit wear items purchased through Educational Apparel, other vendors, or non-uniform items cannot be worn during the regular school day.

Student Council will have 6 Out of Uniform days this year. Students who wish to participate donate a $1.00 which will be given to a designated charity of the student council's choice for the month.

Be sure whether you participate in the theme or just dress casual, that you follow the Out of Uniform Dress Code (attached below for easy viewing). Pajamas are not acceptable to wear for these Out of Uniform days.

SMS Academy of Angels will host their 3rd annual Balloon Parade on Friday, November 21st at 10:00 AM. Students will parade through the halls of the school carrying their decorated balloons in honor of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Academy of Angels parents and caregivers are invited to watch from the front lobby beginning at 9:50 AM.

December 1st - 18th, students are permitted to wear Christmas shirts, sweaters, sweatshirts with uniform bottoms. Christmas leggings are permitted only under skorts or skirts. Christmas socks are also allowed. Ladies may wear Christmas dresses that meet regular dress code policies for length and modesty.

December 19th is our Luminary Mass and all students are encouraged to come in Christmas dress clothes (Sunday Best) or School Uniforms. No casual Christmas clothes are permitted on this day.

We are are hiring for substitute aides for grades PreK-1. Applicants for a substitute aide must have a high school diploma and be willing to obtain an Educational Aide License through the State of Ohio. If you are interested in helping in a classroom when we have a need for a sub, please contact Mr. Eckel at meckel@findlaystmichael.org

2025-2026 PTC Events

Sports Physicals

All students who plan to play a sport at St. Michael School will need a sports physical. Please take all paper work to be signed by a physician and then upload to Final Forms. Physicals must be completed before the athlete will be able to begin practices or play in games with the team.

The SMS basketball program is bringing back the Mighty Mikes Skills Clinics for grades K-2. The clinic is open to only girls at this time, the boys clinic is SOLD OUT. It will be led by Coach Jaclyn Pessell and other SMS coaches involved in the growth of our program. Athletes will receive three days of skills training, a clinic shirt, and have the chance to showcase their skills at a junior high game!

Practice session dates for all players: November 16, December 7, and January 11 from 1-2pm @ SMS.

Girls will play at the halftime of the JH game on January 14.

Boys will play at halftime of the JH game on January 21.
