π Student Handbook Reminders
As warmer weather arrives, weβre beginning to see more summer-style clothing at school. We'd like to take a moment to remind families of expectations related to dress code and student appearance.
Students are expected to wear opaque clothing that covers them from shoulder to mid-thigh. Recently, with the warmer weather, there has been an increase in crop top style shirts and very short shorts that do not meet this expectation, which applies to ALL District 62 students in grades K-8.
We ask families to please help ensure that students come to school dressed in a way that aligns with these district-wide expectations. If a student's outfit does not meet the dress code, we will address it at school and may need to contact home for support. We appreciate your partnership in helping to avoid these situations.
Additional information can be found in the D62 Student Handbook (page 30) under the heading "Student Appearance."
