2025-2026 Course Selection/Scheduling
Course selections for the 2025-2026 school year will be completed on-line through the Sapphire Community Portal. We will be meeting with all current freshman, sophomores, and juniors by class on March 6th to show them the actual on-line form for their grade and explain the process. The on-line course request forms will become active on March 6th and remain open until March 14th. We strongly encourage parents to be an active participant in their child’s course requests. Please don’t hesitate to contact the guidance office if you have any questions.
NURSE'S OFFICE
Reminder to parents: Students currently in 11th grade will need updated immunizations records to include a MCV (meningitis) shot after they turn 16. This is a state law and students can be excluded from school at the start of his/her 12th grade year without this vaccine on record. Please contact the school nurse with any questions regarding this state requirement.
HIGH SCHOOL FUNDRAISERS
Juniors - Class of 2026
The Class of 2026 wants to thank everyone for the incredible support that we received as Co-Sponsors for Battle of the Classes. The event was a huge success and our class is on the way to putting on a fabulous Prom and having a wonderful Senior Trip. Many thanks go out to our Class Officers: Layna Lowery (President), Landon Oehmig (Vice President), Nevaeh Lener (Secretary) and Brady Wallen (Treasurer) for all of their hard work. We also want to thank Chloe Stuart for her help in coordinating some of the Prom Planning. We are wrapping up our Marianna's Pizza and Sub Sale on Friday, February 28. The beginning of April will bring our final Food Truck Event for the year (Thursday, April 6). We appreciate your on-going support. We have received some donations from parents. While that is not required or expected, if you would prefer to skip the fundraisers and make a donation, we always appreciate that as well. All of our funds get used for our class events! We are excited for Prom and all of the fun that Senior Year brings!

SAFE2SAY
Safe2Say Something is a youth violence prevention program run by the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General. The program teaches youth and adults how to recognize warning signs and signals, especially within social media, from individuals who may be a threat to themselves or others and to “say something” BEFORE it is too late. With Safe2Say Something, it’s easy and confidential to report safety concerns to help prevent violence and tragedies.
Here’s how it works:
- Submit an anonymous tip report through the Safe2SaySomething system
- Crisis center reviews, assesses and processes all submissions
- Crisis center sends all submissions to school administration and/or law enforcement for intervention
- If needed, crisis center may contact tipster anonymously through the app
Check out the website if you would like more information: Safe 2 Say
988 SUICIDE & CRISIS LIFELINE
988 has been designated as the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (now known as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), and is now active across the United States.
When people call, text, or chat 988, they will be connected to trained counselors that are part of the existing Lifeline network. These trained counselors will listen, understand how their problems are affecting them, provide support, and connect them to resources if necessary.
The previous Lifeline phone number (1-800-273-8255) will always remain available to people in emotional distress or suicidal crisis.
The Lifeline’s network of over 200 crisis centers has been in operation since 2005, and has been proven to be effective. It’s the counselors at these local crisis centers who answer the contacts the Lifeline receives every day. Numerous studies have shown that callers feel less suicidal, less depressed, less overwhelmed and more hopeful after speaking with a Lifeline counselor.
