Please work to teach your child their address, your phone number, and their first AND last name. Not only is this important in case of emergencies for you, but when we are dismissing its important they recognize their FIRST and LAST name. Especially for our youngest Chaps!
Thank you for partnering with us to help your child succeed!

Pre-K through 2nd grade will be offered ice cream EVERY Friday!
3rd-5th will be offered the above options daily!
As a school, we will focus on every student getting a HOT lunch FIRST! If a student wants to purchase A La Carte, they can do so after all students have received their lunch. This is a procedure you will need to add to your lunch routines.
Parents should be able to restrict A La Carte items in the My School Bucks App.
Concious Discipline: Family Connection
"Connecting before correcting"
As we settle into school routines, we want to introduce families to Conscious Discipline, a framework we use at Fuller to help children develop self-regulation, emotional safety, and problem-solving skills. Each month, we’ll share one simple concept and a practical strategy you can try at home.
This month’s focus is Safety First. Changes in routines, teachers, and expectations can bring both excitement and anxiety. Sometimes those big feelings appear as meltdowns, clinginess, whining, or resistance. Conscious Discipline reminds us that connection governs behavior. Before children can listen, reason, or solve a problem, their bodies must first feel safe and calm.
One way to support this at home is by creating a Safe Place—a quiet, comfortable space where your child can calm their body and work through big feelings. Add a pillow, blanket, stuffed animal, or calming tool, and introduce the space during a calm moment. A Safe Place is not a punishment or traditional time-out; it is a tool children can choose when they feel overwhelmed.
When your child begins to struggle, try saying, “Your body looks frustrated. Would you like to sit in your Safe Place with me for a few minutes?” By calming first and connecting before correcting, we help children return to a state where they are ready to listen, learn, and problem-solve.
Together, school and home can help every child feel safe, connected, and ready to grow!

What's our 95?
Our focus this coming year is student success in MATH! How can you help?
Parents don’t need to be math experts to help their child! Simple, everyday activities can build strong math skills and confidence.
- Count everyday objects. Count toys, steps, snacks, cars, or items going into the grocery cart.
- Practice math facts for a few minutes. Spend 5–10 minutes practicing addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division facts.
- Play games. Card games, dice games, dominoes, and board games are great for counting, adding, comparing numbers, and problem-solving.
- Cook together. Let your child measure ingredients, count scoops, use fractions, or double a recipe.
- Use money. Have your child count coins, estimate the cost of items, compare prices, or figure out change.
- Ask your child to estimate. Try questions like, “How many do you think are in the jar?” or “About how much will this cost?”
- Talk about time. Ask how many minutes until dinner, how long an activity lasted, or what time you need to leave.
- Look for shapes. Find circles, rectangles, triangles, cubes, and other shapes around the house or neighborhood.
- Compare things. Ask which item is longer, heavier, taller, greater, or smaller.
- Let your child help with shopping. Compare prices, count items, stay within a budget, or calculate the cost of multiple items.
- Ask, “How did you figure that out?” Encourage your child to explain their thinking instead of focusing only on getting the right answer.
- Have your child teach you. Ask them to show you how they learned to solve a problem at school.
- Use math in the car. Read numbers on signs, practice skip-counting, estimate travel time, or create mental-math problems.
- Celebrate effort and problem-solving. When math is challenging, praise your child for trying different strategies and sticking with it.
Most importantly: Keep it simple and positive. Just a few minutes of math during everyday routines can make a big difference!
