I’m excited to share that the Board recently approved our Campus Safety and Security Officer (CSSO) program, which is another important step in strengthening safety across our district. While our School Resource Officers (SROs) are certified law enforcement officers who handle investigations and enforcement, our CSSOs will serve in a different role. They will be trained and armed, focused strictly on campus safety and emergency response, and will not be responsible for writing citations or conducting investigations. Their presence provides an additional layer of protection and a consistent, visible security presence on our campuses, helping make our schools even safer places to work and learn. Over the next several weeks, we will begin identifying and training those individuals as we prepare to implement the program for the upcoming school year.

Over the past month, I’ve also had the opportunity to sit down with both our Student Advisory Council and Teacher Advisory Council, and I always walk away from those conversations encouraged. Hearing directly from our students and staff helps keep us focused on what matters most and where we can continue to grow. At the same time, our District Leadership Team has been spending time reflecting on how we continue to live out our core values while maintaining a strong balance between accountability and passion in the work we do every day.

Human Resources Human Resources

On March 12th the Beebe School District's third-annual job fair was held at the Beebe High School Career and Technical Building. Over 70 candidates attended the job fair where they met with building administrators and department supervisors to discuss job opportunities.

Special Programs Special Programs

Mrs. Blauser has been instrumental in preparing our Pre-K students for a successful transition to kindergarten. In her role as the Assistant Director of Special Programs, she collaborates with multiple early childhood programs to ensure that children who qualify for special education and related services receive the support and resources necessary for a smooth and seamless transition to Beebe Early Childhood. Recognizing that the move to kindergarten represents an important milestone for both children and families, which includes introducing longer school days, new relationships, and evolving family routines, Mrs. Blauser is committed to supporting families as they navigate this new chapter with confidence and clarity.

Curriculum and Instruction Curriculum and Instruction

We spent a few special days in March celebrating the heart of our district, our incredible teachers and staff. These moments are always very special, but they serve as a reminder that the impact our teachers and staff make is felt far beyond the classroom walls. Each day, our employees pour their time, energy, compassion, and dedication into our students, helping shape not only their academic success, but who they become as individuals.

One of our most cherished traditions each school year is visiting each building and department to recognize those nominated by colleagues, students, and members of our community. These nominations tell powerful stories. They are stories of encouragement, patience, and unwavering support.

As we honored these outstanding individuals, we concluded our celebration by announcing our Beebe School District Teacher of the Year and Classified Employee of the Year. We are beyond proud of each and every teacher and staff member who serve our students so well. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for all you do! We are truly blessed to have the very best here in the Beebe School District!

Support Services Support Services

Support Services continues to make steady progress across our campuses. Recent work includes repairs to the field house steps following winter weather damage, along with preparations at the baseball field for a new outdoor grilling station. A concrete pad is currently being poured, and once cured, a metal awning will be installed to complete the space.
