McKean School Community,
Summer is knocking at our door, and students are eagerly awaiting the start of summer vacation. Until then, we will have plenty of events and accomplishments to share with you. Last week, we hosted the National Honor Society Induction Ceremony. We inducted nine new members into our chapter and bid farewell to our five seniors.
Additionally, we celebrated over 200 student-athletes in our annual Athletics Awards Ceremony. We wanted to praise their effort, hard work, and positive traits representing the Highlanders. Speaking of sports, the McKean Health Center has begun doing physicals for all students who wish to participate in sports next year. Graduation is a little more than a week away, and to the class of 2025, we could not be prouder of all you have achieved. As you prepare to take your next steps, remember the friendships, lessons, and memories you made here. Your future is bright, and we cannot wait to see where it takes you.

Updates for the class of 2025
12th Grade Families,
As we near the end of the school year, we want to remind you about an important step for students who will not be returning to Red Clay next year.
Your student’s school Google account will remain active for 60 days after the school year ends. After that period, the account—and all files stored in it—will be permanently deleted.
If your student would like to keep any documents, they’ll need to transfer their files before the 60-day window closes. We've included step-by-step instructions and a video tutorial below to help guide them through the process:

Dear Highlander Families! I hope everyone is having a great summer. With that being said Fall Sports is scheduled to start with pre-season on Monday August 11, 2025. All athletes must have the following in order to participate in Fall Athletics:
DIAA physical DIAA Physical Form
-Academically Eligible: All Incoming Freshmen are immediately Eligible/Upperclassmen need to have 5 passing classes with 2 being majors (Math, Science, Social Studies, English) based on their last report cards final grades.
-Register on Family ID Family ID Link
-Students must sign McKean Sportsmanship contract (Students will complete at the start of the regular school year)
