Reynolds Arrival/Dismissal Map Update

Updated Reynolds Arrival and Dismissal Procedures Following Winter Break Updated Reynolds Arrival and Dismissal Procedures Following Winter Break

We extend our sincere gratitude to parents and students for your continued flexibility and support as our campus undergoes ongoing modernizations, made possible by the overwhelming community support of the 2023 Bond. We know navigating construction is a process, but our campus will emerge shiny and new—a testament to our community's strong support of public education and Prosper ISD. Thank you for your patience as we work through these temporary changes together.

When students return from winter break on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, we will implement a new arrival and dismissal plan as renovations move to additional areas of campus.

What You Can Do to Help Us Start the New Year Off Right: What You Can Do to Help Us Start the New Year Off Right:

  • Be patient and flexible as we work together to refine the process during the first few weeks

  • Talk to your students who walk or bike about the new traffic pattern and remind them to be extra aware of vehicles as they cross driveways and intersections

  • Allow extra time for drop-off and pick-up—traffic will be slower as everyone adjusts to the new pattern

  • Follow the directions of Prosper ISD officers and crossing guards

  • Plan for limited parking availability and consider alternative drop-off arrangements if possible

  • Model courtesy for our students by remaining calm and respectful, even when traffic is moving slowly

  • Communicate with us if you notice safety concerns or have suggestions for improvement

New Traffic Pattern: New Traffic Pattern:

  • Eagle Lane will now be designated for buses only

  • Parent drop-off and pick-up will relocate to the BACK of the campus. Parents should enter through Prairie Vista Drive (previously Gorgeous Lane) and turn left onto Private Drive

  • A PISD Officer will be stationed at the Prairie Vista Drive (previously Gorgeous Lane) and Coleman intersection to assist with traffic flow

  • A crossing guard will be positioned at the intersection of Private Drive and Church Street

  • An additional crossing guard will be stationed at Eagle Lane and Coleman to assist walkers and bike riders crossing Eagle Lane

  • Parents are not permitted to park in the Eagles Crossing shopping area across the street and walk their children across Coleman, as there is no crosswalk or crossing guard to assist in crossing Coleman

Campus Navigation & Safety Restrictions: Campus Navigation & Safety Restrictions:

  • Traffic is restricted on the east side of campus between the main building and the MPF from 7:15 AM to 4:15 PM due to high student and staff foot traffic

  • Front Parking Lot Restriction: to ensure smooth dismissal procedures and the safety of all students and staff, the front parking lot will be restricted after 2:30 PM daily. Parents will not be permitted to park in this area for drop-off or pick-up after this time, as doing so interferes with our end-of-day dismissal process.

Important Parking Reminders: Important Parking Reminders:

  • Parents are not permitted to park in the Eagles Crossing shopping area across the street and walk their children across Coleman, as there is no crosswalk or crossing guard to assist in crossing Coleman

  • Please avoid parking in the surrounding neighborhoods and businesses during arrival and dismissal times

Your cooperation and positive attitude will help us create a safe, efficient system for everyone. Let's work together to make this transition as smooth as possible!
