What are Summer COOL Experiences?
"COOL" stands for Career Opportunities On Location. These Summer COOL Experiences are on-site job shadowing or unpaid internships coordinated by Leander ISD and are geared toward giving students real-world perspective on a career field of interest. These opportunities are strictly for rising seniors (Class of 2023). Students are encouraged to read through the details of each opportunity below and submit an interest form by the designated deadline.
This is a selective process, and although students can apply for multiple opportunities, students are only eligible to participate in one Summer COOL Experience.
