2026/2027 PTA Board Elections
At the 3/17 Board Meeting, the PTA elected our next Board for the 2026/2027 School Year. Please join us in congratulating incoming President Sam Silver, Vice President Jenny Bolten, Expense Treasurer Molly Clautice. They will be joining Toni, Meagan, and Ceanne in leading our PTA.
2025/2026 Volunteer of the Year
Congratulations to Steph Rosik for being recognized as our Bingham Farms Elementary PTA Volunteer of the Year! Steph is actively involved in leading in many capacities with the Green Team, Reflections Program, Lunch Room/Recess, organizing the never-ending lost and found, Book Fair, Girl Scouts, and helping to reduce food insecurity by sharing excess food from our lunch program. Thank you for championing our students and families! Steph will be recognized by the District PTSA on May 18th.
Reflections Program
Congratulations to Lily Lee on receiving Honorable Mention at the Michigan State PTSA for her outstanding photography submission! This year's program was titled I Belong. Lily's photography was taken at her gymnastics gym, Troy Gym. We had several outstanding submissions and students who moved into the state program. We will celebrate all of the awards at an upcoming student assembly.
VIP & Me Save the Date
Our 3rd-5th Grade VIP Event will be April 24th. Check out our newsletter after Spring Break for all the details.
All Hands on Deck!
We are heading into a busy season at school (and life). Please consider donating a bit of time to help support the many programs and activities taking place at school. In addition to these volunteer opportunities, there will be field trips, end-of-year parties/promotions, and other ways to get involved. Our whole community makes this school special and we hope that you or another family member can share your time and talents with our kids.
- In-school: Volunteer Opportunities
- Special Events: Volunteer Opportunities
- Book Fair March 18-25: Volunteer Opportunities (30 minute slots)
- Conference Refreshments: Drinks, Snacks, and Treats Welcome
Conference Refreshments
Help us provide some treats and refreshments for our teachers and staff during conferences on March 24 & 25. These delicious additions will be served alongside a PTA-provided meal on March 24. Choose an item on the list or provide your own favorites. All treats should be dropped off at the school office. Thanks for brightening their day!
Dining for Donations: 3/25
On our half-day, save the dinner prep for another day and grab a bite at Rusty Bucket. 15% of your bill will be donated to Bingham Farms Elementary to be used for classroom grants and programs. Use Code PTA25 when ordering online or scan your receipt.
SOS Schools Offer Support
Schools Offer Support - SOS supports BPS families with temporary financial needs by providing grocery gift cards, utility and medical bill assistance, and childcare assistance.
Additionally, SOS provides food and other resources during breaks from school. ANYONE wanting to contribute to assisting BPS families with food and financial insecurity over the breaks and holidays, you can Venmo or Zelle your TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATION to SOS. We’re asking for $25 denominations to help with distributing the gift cards we purchase evenly among the families.
BPS families in need can request support through our website by clicking on the “request support” button. schoolsoffersupport.org

- April 28: Art Showcase & Food Truck Night
PTA Board Meeting: April 21, 7pm
Join us on April 21st at 7 pm in the Media Center for our final in-person PTA Meeting of this school year. During this meeting, we will be celebrating our Board, Grade Connectors, and other School Volunteers, as well as doing some planning for the 2026/2027 school year - yes, you heard that right!
We know that there are so many talented volunteers in our community who have great ideas on how the PTA can support our school, and we want to hear your ideas. If you have suggestions on ways to spend our time and efforts, are interested in taking on a leadership role, or just want to listen in, we welcome you to join us. Being a part of the PTA Planning Workshop is an opportunity to shape your child's experience at Bingham Farms PTA programs and events.
Coming Soon: School Supply Sales
Our ever-popular back-to-school supply sale will be returning this April-May with EPI. Last year, over 70% of our school participated in the program, and this year we hope to make it an even bigger participation. We work closely with our rep at EPI to keep costs low and help families avoid the dreaded summer shopping. The kits include items that the teachers specifically want, and in many classes, the supplies are shared.
How it works:
- After Spring Break, we will send flyers home with your student and post them in newsletters.
- All incoming Jr. K through 5th-grade students will have the opportunity to order their supply kit.
- Once ordered, the kits will be delivered to your student's classroom before the start of school on August 31st.
- The only thing not included in the kits are corded headphones, which all K-5 students need (not JK).
- When we start advertising, if you have a neighbor or friend joining the school, please tell them about this opportunity. Help us get to 100%

Box Tops for Education
A great way to support the school is through Box Top$ for Education. Long gone are the days of clipping the barcodes of cereal boxes or soup labels. Download the app, select Bingham Farms Elementary, and each time you shop at the grocery scan your receipt. It will auto calculate the donation and send it to our school! It is easy, and you don't need to know which food or supplies qualify for credit - the app checks for you. Now download that app while you wait for the bus, or in the pick-up gathering zone.
