Tynes Weekly Updates
March 27, 2026
Greetings from Dr. Borgese
Thank You, Tynes Community!
Tiger Families,
Thank you to all of our families who came out to support our McTeacher Night on Wednesday evening. It was such a fun opportunity to connect, share some smiles, and see our Tigers outside of the classroom. Thanks to your generosity and support, our PTA raised over $1,000 to continue supporting programs and experiences for our students.
As we celebrate this success, we also want to remind everyone that our Super Tynes Jogathon is still underway. Every contribution helps us continue to level up opportunities for our students, and we appreciate your continued support in helping us reach our goal.
Today was another special moment on campus as we recognized our students during our second trimester awards assemblies. It was truly heartwarming to celebrate the hard work, growth, and achievements of our Tigers. We are so proud of their efforts and the positive spirit they bring to our school each day.
Thank you for being such an important part of our Tynes community.
Warmly,
Dr. Borgese

Jogathon Fundraiser
Our Jog-a-thon officially kicked off today! Students attended a fun assembly and learned about this yearβs prizes and how they can help raise funds for our school!
Goal: $22,000
If we reach it, the whole school earns an extra recess and Dr. Borgese and Mrs. Miller will dress up for the Jog-a-thon !Weβre using DoJiggy again this year for easy online donations (cash and checks are welcome, too). Information on setting up your studentβs fundraising page is coming home and included below.
There are:
Prizes for fundraising milestones
Awards for the top 3 fundraisers
A NEW grand prize for the overall top fundraiser
Class prizes for top-earning classes
Business Sponsorships β A Major Focus This Year
In addition to donations from family and friends, weβre placing a strong emphasis on growing our business sponsorships. Community sponsors make a huge impact and help us reach our goal faster.
You can help by:
Becoming a sponsor if you own a business
Asking your employer if they support local schools
Connecting us with a local business owner you know
Helping us reach out to businesses in the community
We have multiple sponsorship levels available, and sponsors receive recognition through event signage and school communications.
If youβre willing to help β even by reaching out to just one business β please let us know. Parent connections are incredibly powerful!
