Notes on upcoming Regents Exams
Regents Exams start in a few days here are few things parents and families should be aware of during exam time.
- During Regents week students are only required to attend school if they are scheduled to take an exam that day OR have been asked to come in to make up classwork or missing assignments. Exam invitations will be distributed starting next week.
- THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES OF ANY KIND ALLOWED IN THE EXAM ROOM DURING REGENTS ADMINISTRATION. This is including but not limited to, cell phones, smart watches, tablets, iPads, music playing devices, smart glasses/googles. These items will collected at scanning, if a student refuses to turn in there devices, they will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
- ADDITIONALLY - If a student is caught using an electronic device during regents exams, there exam will be invalidated (e.g. not marked and effectively given a "0"). The student will not be allowed to take that exam until it's next administration in August 2025 or January 2026.
- SUMMER SCHOOL LETTERS will be distributed to students after regents exams are complete on June 26th.
Make sure your child gets plenty of rest and has good meal before exams!
For any questions or concern please reach out to me or your child's guidance counselor.

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Jessica, and I’m reaching out on behalf of The Door, where we support young adults in achieving their educational and career goals.
We are currently enrolling for the September cohort of our free GED program, designed specifically for 18–24 year olds who are ready to earn their high school equivalency diploma. Our program not only offers academic instruction, test preparation, and career readiness coaching, but also provides access to comprehensive support services—including, but not limited to, one-on-one counseling, health care referrals, housing resources, and legal services.
If you serve young adults who may benefit from this opportunity, we would love to collaborate with you. We’re happy to host an info session for your staff or speak one-on-one with prospective students. I am attaching our flyer and factsheet for outreach purposes as well.
Please feel free to reply if you'd like more information or to schedule a time to connect. Thank you for the work you do, and I hope we can support each other in helping NYC youth thrive.
Warmly,
Jessica Chao . Career Advancement Coach, Advance & Earn

I’m excited to share that our Athletic Department’s new social media sites are officially live! This initiative has been a collaboration between the Sports Media & Marketing Club and Athletics. We look forward to showcasing the talent and spirit of our athletes.
Attached is a flyer that was created by our talented students in the club, with QR codes to social media platforms we’ll be using to promote our teams, events, and achievements. Please feel free to share and encourage engagement with these accounts! It's a fantastic opportunity for our athletes, teams, and campus community to stay connected.
Thank you for your support, and I’m looking forward to seeing how our community interacts with these new platforms!
Best regards,
Jon-Paul D'Orazio
