PBIS Updates- Fun Friday (September 25th)
At Madison Middle School, We believe in celebrating students not only for academic achievement but also for the effort that they put into creating a safe, respectful, and responsible community. Our PBIS framework helps us to do this through our acknowledgement system. Our MadMoney tickets are a more frequent way to recognize this behavior but we also like to recognize sustained positive behavior over time as well.
Starting this Monday, we will share the criteria for qualifying for the first Fun Friday of the school year. Student behavior around being prepared for class and homework completion will be tracked through Thursday, September 24th.
6th grade:
Any student that does not come prepared to class more than 2 times in any one class would not meet the requirements to qualify. Teacher tracked
Missing assignments (2 in any one class = disqualification) Teacher tracked
7th grade
Any student that does not come prepared to class more than 1 time in any one class would not meet the requirements to qualify. Teacher tracked
Missing assignments (2 in any one class = disqualification) Teacher tracked

After School Activities
As a reminder, doors will open at 7:15am before school and students are expected to be out of the building by 2:50pm after school unless students are participating in athletics, clubs, or activities where they are supervised by an adult.
If your student is attending an athletic event, they are not permitted to be in the school after 2:50 and should ride the bus home and come back for the event.
