We’re trying something new this quarter! Report cards will be mailed home so every family receives a copy. You’ll also notice a student reflection included with it. Students took time in school to think about their learning habits, their strengths, and the goals they want to work toward next quarter.

This reflection isn’t a grade — it’s simply a chance for students to pause, celebrate their growth, and set a focus for what comes next. We hope it opens up some great conversations at home about what they’re proud of and where they want to grow.

As always, if you have any questions about your child’s progress, please reach out to their teachers or team. We’re here to help!

For Quarter 2, we have a small group of 5th and 6th grade students starting up a school newspaper during Elective time at the end of the week. Next week's addition is attached below. Check out their great work!

Please return all soccer uniforms and warm up jackets to coach ASAP.

All winter athletes will need a completed participation packet prior to tryouts. Those are located next to Mr. Brooks' room.

5th Graders will be able to try out this winter for Girls Basketball and Cheering.

Information about tryouts and the participation packets were handed out to all interested students. Students must attend all three days of tryouts.

TICKET DELIVERY:

You will receive an email from FEVO (noreply@fevo-enterprise.com) to access to your tickets through Account Manager

Registration will close on Friday, Nov. 14, at 5 p.m. and the season will get underway with games starting Saturday, Dec. 6. Teams and coaches will be finalized before the Thanksgiving holiday break.

This year, the league's intent (including the other towns) is to form separate boys and girls teams for grades 3rd-6th, and having an appropriate number of girls register will help out in this effort. PreK-2nd grades will remain co-ed teams.

All players will be provided a shirt or jersey. PreK/Kindergarten players will practice/scrimmage every Saturday. Grades 1/2, 3/4 and 5/6 will have games on Saturdays with practices held in the China Primary School / China Middle School gyms during the week.

Families with multiple players are offered a $5 discount per additional player.

Volunteering as a coach enables a free player registration. Please consider being a coach so we can have an appropriate number of teams and give everyone good play time!

China Recreational Sports has an extended registration period to allow families as much time as possible to register their player(s). We do not accept late registrations and require payment to be complete prior to assigning a player to a team.
China Recreational Sports offers a scholarship program for families and players to offset the cost of registration if needed.
