The Great Debate
On March 17, 2025, several students of both 'The Debate Club' and 'The Multicultural Club' showed up to debate the topic of being Pro or Anti Border and being Pro or Anti Deportation of illegal immigrants. Students like John Mize, Jasmine Jadunath, Alayna Athar, and Sam Iannuzzi supported the side of Anti Deportation while Bhrugu Patel, Thomas Suppa, Gio Patel and Max Kapilof all supported the side of Pro Deportation. Both Ms. Sandoval and Ms. Oehm were heavily involved in the debate. The next debate will be on April 28th and will follow the topic of being either Pro or Anti Artificial Intelligence with the attendance of the E Sports club, Robotics Club, and members of the Cyber Security Class.
Spring Egg Hunt
To celebrate spring, Algebra 1 classes had an egg hunt in the media center. Some eggs contained candy, while others had math problems for the students to solve with their partners. Problems included factoring quadratics, using quadratic formula, and graphing quadratics
Shout Out
We're incredibly proud to announce that Max Kapiloff has been selected for the prestigious summer business academy at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business! Out of countless applicants nationwide, Max was one of only 74 students chosen.
And, we're equally thrilled to announce that Max has also been chosen for the Bovard Scholars Program at USC! This prestigious program is designed to help high-achieving students excel in college and beyond, offering guidance in college admissions, career exploration, and leadership.
This is a testament to his exceptional academic drive and unwavering commitment to his goals. Congratulations, Max!
