Last week’s virtual learning days were a great example of what makes JCSC and JCMS such a special place. While weather kept us out of the building, learning didn't stop, and that's due to the hard work and dedication from our staff.

Our teachers stepped up in a big way to ensure students continued receiving high-quality instruction. Lessons were thoughtfully planned, clearly communicated, and designed to keep students engaged and learning from home. From posted assignments and live virtual lessons to check-ins and feedback, our staff worked hard to maintain consistency and support for all learners.

Another shoutout to our maintenance and custodial team! They worked diligently to ensure the parking lot, sidewalks, and walkways were all cleared of snow and ice. Thank you to Mr. Moore, Ms. Linda Barnes, Mrs. Dickinson, Ms. Minger, Ms. Rockey, Ms. Hargesheimer, Mr. Mytck, Mr. Fuson, and Miss Gross!

We do have a change in our calendar due to last week's Snow Day on Wednesday, January 28th, JCSC will have a make up day on President's Day, February 16, 2026.

Thank you to our families for your partnership and support, and a huge thank-you to our JCMS staff for continuing to put students first. Together, we proved once again that no matter the setting, learning at JCMS keeps moving forward and our students continue unlocking their potential.

Nominations are due by Wednesday, February 11.

Jennings County Middle School is excited to announce that pre-orders are now open for the 2025–2026 JCMS Yearbook. This year’s book will capture the moments, memories, and milestones that make the school year special for our students and staff.

Families are encouraged to order early to take advantage of discounted pricing available for a limited time.

Early Bird Pricing (available through March 15, 2026):
• Hardcover Yearbook – $38
• Softback Yearbook – $28
• eYearbook – $15

After March 15, 2026, prices will increase:
• Hardcover – $45
• Softback – $35
• eYearbook – $22

Name stamping is available for those who would like to personalize their yearbook.

The final deadline to order is May 15, 2026. Because yearbooks are printed based on orders, families are strongly encouraged to purchase in advance to guarantee a copy.
