A quick note from the principal's desk...

Good Afternoon RPI Families,

Wow, the rising temperatures, longer days and feel of spring really makes things feel quite a bit different, doesn't it? We know that we are still in the wonky place, but getting outside and soaking in the best of West Michigan somehow makes it all a little more tolerable.

We have about 3.5 weeks to go of school and like I stated on our Facebook Live on Thursday, I wanted to offer you some encouragement as we all push to the finish line. While none of know each others situations, by simply participating in a classroom zoom, getting outside and running around, doing some sidewalk art, or reading a book, you are doing a great job. And I mean that. Not many of you are teachers, and we would never want you to feel that you have to recreate our daily lives, as you wouldn't want us to try to do your job, right? Anyway...doing something to keep kids engaged in reading, healthy and creativity will serve us all well going into next year. Rest comfortably with that and we will all "finish" strong. THANK YOU!

Stay healthy...drink lots of water, wash your hands, read, exercise and be a good human!

Library Book Drop Off

If your student(s) have books that they checked out before the shutdown and you'd like to return them, we will offer a book drop off on Wednesday (May 20) from 9:30-11:30 at RPI main entrance! We will have a box or cart out in the parking lot for you to leave your books. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer new book checkout at this point.

Elective Class Lesson Plans

In talking with our electives teachers, they are offering a lot of great opportunities for the kids to be engaged but seeing relatively low participation level. We suspect that's because this link is hard to find.

Here it is. Give it a look and try something fun!!
