Letter from Mr. V
Dear JES Community,
I want to thank our PTO, the Traditions and Events Committee, and our art teacher, Erika Magoon, for putting together such a fun day for kids on Friday. The Mask Parade was my personal favorite, picture below, and it was so great to see so many of you come out to celebrate our student's creativity! I can't wait for our upcoming community events...see you there!
A couple of updates and reminders:
- Please give a reason for your kiddo's absence if you are calling it in on the attendance line. If no reason is given, we mark them as unexcused.
- Winter is coming, so it's time to round up that snow gear! If you are unable to provide your child with snow gear, please reach out to their teacher or the office, and we will work to get a set donated. Boots, snow pants, and a jacket are required to play in the snow when it's on the playground.
- Our Food Drive and Bottle Drive are coming right up. Details are provided in flyers below. Please help support our kids and the hungry if you are able to!
As winter approaches, Lamoille North wants to make sure our families are receiving important school communications, including weather-related closures, delays, safety notifications, and student updates.
On Friday, November 6 at 6:00 PM, we'll conduct a districtwide test of our communication system. Families can expect to receive a test message through phone, email, Infinite Campus inbox, and text message (if activated).
We encourage all parents and guardians to take a few moments before November 6 to review their contact information in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Text messaging is a great way to receive timely updates, but families must activate this feature to receive messages.
Strong school-to-home communication is essential, and we appreciate your help in keeping our families informed, connected, and prepared!

Dane VanNosdeln
