Dear Parents and Carers,

This week has once again been full of exciting events across school, and we continue to be delighted with the positive start pupils have made to the new term.

Meet the Teacher

On Monday, we held our ‘Meet the Teacher’ events for Years 3 and 4, as well as Years 5 and 6 on Tuesday. Yesterday evening, we also welcomed parents and carers of our new EYFS pupils for a Phonics Information Evening. All of these sessions were really well attended, and we are grateful for the continued support from our families. Thank you to teachers for offering their time to run these sessions.

JLT Elections

Our Junior Leadership Team (JLT) elections took place earlier this week, with pupils from across the school taking part in the democratic vote. The successful candidates from each year group were announced in Tuesday’s assembly and they were presented with their badges. I very much look forward to meeting with the new team to begin planning whole-school events. The pupil leadership board will also be updated with our new JLT members.
