Choose Peace-Stop Violence is a Broward County partnership dedicated to empowering students to be leaders for positive change. By promoting peace, respect, and personal responsibility, the initiative helps prevent youth crime and violence while building safer, healthier communities where children and families can thrive.
Broward County students in grades 1-12 are encouraged to share their vision of "Investing Peace" in our community. Students are invited to creatively express how we can promote a culture of peace, kindness, compassion, and gratitude, while continuing to strengthen positive values and meaningful connections within our schools and communities.

And I'm proud to be an American
Where at least I know I'm free
And I won't forget the men who died
Who gave that right to me
And I'd gladly stand up
Next to you and defend her still today
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land
God bless the USA
