Superintendent's Weekly Update

January 12, 2024
Dear Weymouth Public Schools Community,
As we approach the end of another week, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on our collective efforts and celebrate the achievements within our school district.
Throughout the week, our dedicated educators, students, and staff have demonstrated unwavering commitment to excellence in education. From innovative teaching methods to the determination of our students in their studies, it is evident that our school community is thriving.
In the spirit of reflection and gratitude, I would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the upcoming Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Dr. King's legacy is an inspiration to us all, emphasizing the values of equality, justice, and the importance of coming together as a community. This day serves as a reminder of the ongoing work needed to create a more just and inclusive society.
Wishing you a restful weekend and a meaningful Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration. We will see all staff and students back on Tuesday, January 16th!
Sincerely,
Robert Wargo
Superintendent

Academy Avenue Weymouth Wildcat Media Club
This video was produced by students in the Friday After School Academy Avenue Wildcat Media Club which met last December. Students came up with the ideas, scheduled the interviews, worked the camera and the lights, and produced the video. It was a ton of fun. Thank you Principal Higgins for the opportunity to run a real movie set!
