Partnering With You
Parent & Family Engagement Newsletter Volume 5 Issue 9

Hello May!
May has arrived!
As we wrap up this school year, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for your ongoing support, encouragement and partnership. Thank you parents, grandparents and caregivers. Your involvement is impactful in your child's learning and growth.
It's been a pleasure to watch the students learn, develop confidence and achieve their goals during this school year. This would not be possible without your support at home.
Thank you for your continued support during our campus-wide events, PTO, Campus Advisory Committee 4 Success and the JAMII Mentoring program. I look forward to the next school year.

As we wind down in the last three weeks of school, please ensure students complete assignments and projects by the due date. Please also check grades for missing assignments and/or test retakes.

A few words from our Social Worker Kursten Cutkelvin
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. This month we hope you take time to pause, reflect, and prioritize emotional well being for you and your student. As we head into the final stretch of the school, it's normal for students to experience a mix of excitement, stress, and fatigue. At home, you can help your student by checking in with them after school time, limiting screen time before bed, and spending time together.
At school, we will continue to support students by fostering a safe, connected, and supportive environment where they feel seen and heard. If you ever have concerns about your students mental health please don't hesitate to reach out. We are here to partner with you. Happy Mental Health Awareness Month.
