Shop with a Cop Shop with a Cop

Now in its 11th year, Livermore police officers and our local schools are once again teaming up for the Shop With a Cop program—an annual effort that brings holiday joy to students and families in need across all Livermore schools.

Each year, students from every school in our district are nominated to participate and paired with officers for a special morning of shopping, smiles, and connection. This experience is made possible almost entirely through donations from our community.

To ensure every nominated student can participate, we are asking for your support. Donations of any amount go directly toward helping Livermore students experience the magic of the season.

Donate to Shop With a Cop 2025

Your generosity makes a real difference—helping brighten the holidays for children throughout our district and keeping alive the spirit of kindness and community that defines Livermore.

Another Bite at the Apple - Teacher Experiences! Another Bite at the Apple - Teacher Experiences!

Great news! Tickets for Teacher Experiences will continue to be available until a few days before the experience, or tickets sell out (whichever happens first). Students are welcome to participate in as many, or even all, of the Teacher Experiences, as long as they fall within the grade-level guidelines listed in each event description. For example, the Slime Party (now sold out) is open to students in Grades 1-3, while the Wicked Movie Night is open to students of all grade levels. Teacher Experiences are fun, creative opportunities for your child(ren) to hang out with Lawrence teachers outside of regular school hours -- and give you some time to shop or have dinner or sleep! More information about each event is at the purchase link. Buy Teacher Experience tickets here: https://wine-country-nights-2025.cheddarup.com

Short Term Independent Study Agreement (ISA) Short Term Independent Study Agreement (ISA)

While it is optimal for students to attend school regularly, there are times when family and life events require a student to miss school days. Short-Term Independent Study Agreements (ISA) can provide students with an opportunity to maintain their academic work for short periods of time. Short-term agreement forms are available at your school office.

A Short-Term ISA:

  • allows students to obtain their school work prior to their missed days, complete their work during their absence, and return to school without the stress of catching up as well as keeping up with current work.

  • when completed accurately, does not negatively impact a student’s attendance record, as days missed will be classified as excused absences.

  • our District to retain critical funding for providing instruction while the student is away.

A student may qualify for a Short-Term ISA if the following conditions are met:

  1. The Short-Term ISA can not occur during the first or last 10 days of instruction of the school year.

  2. The Short-Term ISA is for a time period no less than 3 days and no more than 10 days. Exceptions may be approved by the site administrator to extend to 15 days in total.

  3. The independent study agreement does not exceed 15 days of short-term independent study for the student for the current school year.

  4. The Short Term ISA is submitted to the school office at least 10 instructional days before the requested start date.

*New to 2025-26- completed assignments must be submitted to the office on the first day of return instead of the teacher.
