THE MUSK OX NEWS
February 20, 2026
Dear Homeschool Families,
Welcome to the week of February 23rd!
As we move further into the spring semester, this is a great time to pause, reflect, and refocus. At our FPCS, we recognize the dedication it takes to educate at home while balancing the many responsibilities of family and daily life. Your consistency, creativity, and commitment make a meaningful difference in your students’ yearly growth.
Quarter 3 will be coming to an end in just two weeks. Please begin gathering your required work samples for your sponsor teacher and be sure to upload and attach them in the OLS under the Quarter 3 column. The deadline for submission of all Quarter 3 samples is March 6th. Submitting early helps ensure there is time to address any missing components before the close of the quarter.
Thank you for choosing Family Partnership to walk alongside you in your homeschooling journey. We value the trust you place in us and are honored to partner with your family’s educational goals. As spring approaches, please watch for re-enrollment information after Spring Break if you plan to return next year.
If you will be adding a student for the upcoming school year, be sure to enroll them in the lottery that closes on March 31st.
As always, our staff is here to support you.
Wishing you a productive and successful week,
Lynnetta Marcellus

💼 FPCS Reimbursement Department!
Dear Parents,
We would like to gently remind you that the primary document required for reimbursement is a receipt or invoice (proof of purchase).
If the receipt or invoice does not show confirmation that the payment was completed, your name, and the last four digits of the card used for the purchase, you may also be asked to provide proof of payment, such as a copy of your bank or credit card statement.
The statement should clearly show:
-
the charge for the item, and
-
the cardholder’s name (or the bank account owner if a debit card was used).
Providing complete documentation helps ensure that your reimbursement requests can be processed as smoothly as possible.
Occasionally, reimbursement requests may be placed on hold pending additional documentation. The most common reasons for these delays are shown in the chart below.
Additionally, following the recent OLS update, parents are now able to view comments for each of their reimbursement requests. These comments will let you know if any additional information is needed or if an email has been sent regarding your request.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our reimbursement department at FPCSReimbursements@asdk12.org. We’re always happy to help!
Kind regards,
FPCS Reimbursement Department
